Antigua, June 21, 2024 – In a thrilling encounter at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, South Africa emerged victorious over the USA by 18 runs in their Super 8 (Group 2) match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 last night.

South Africa set a challenging target of 195 runs after being put to bat first by the USA, who won the toss and opted to bowl. South Africa’s innings was anchored by a stellar performance from Quinton de Kock, who scored an impressive 74 runs. Aiden Markram also contributed significantly with a solid 46 runs. The Proteas finished their innings at 194 for four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
