India vs Australia Live Cricket Score: India would be a little hurt after the Adelaide result, not because they lost but in the manner they lost. A couple of changes are expected for India, meanwhile Australia have already confirmed their playing XI and will be confident to make it 2-1 at Gabba.
IND vs AUS 3rd Test Live Cricket Score: Wait continues as Gabba gets watered down by relentless rain, possibility of play more hope than potential reality
India vs Australia Live Updates: A December Gabba Test with the World Test Championship points at stake and the juncture at which the series is poised, is probably the most crucial game of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Test match in itself is a catch-22 sort of thing given India have had some great memories when they were here the last time but the visitors are coming off a 10-wicket defeat in the second Test in Adelaide. If only India could be in Australia’s position… but imagine a comeback from here? That would be a story to tell and Rohit Sharma and Co would enter the overcast Gabba with this very aim, not just to take the lead in the series but also stay alive in the hunt for a spot in the WTC final. Follow all the live updates from the 3rd Ind vs Aus Test from Gabba, Brisbane-
Gabba outfield has taken a lot of water as it continues to rain. It is gloomy and even though the drainage is impressive, it will take some time for groundstaff to get it match ready and for that, the rain has to stop.
There’s no new update as it is still raining and a lot of water has settled into the ground. The resumption is getting farther and farther as the game should have started by now after the lunch break but it will take a lot of time from here.
The lunch was delayed by 30 minutes from the earlier timing of 7:50 AM IST to 8:20 PM IST but now that the second rain break has gotten a bit long, there is a hope that it will subside in the next 40 minutes.
The live pictures from the ground suggest a lot of water has been taken by the ground. Although the drainage system is excellent at the Gabba, the groundstaff still need the rain to stop and get into their work. From the looks of it, we are a bit far away from that point.
The rain has interrupted the play yet again as the players rush off. The groundstaff was inside the ground inside 30 seconds and this spell of rain was heavier than the previous. It’s frustrating for the players as well as the viewers and the groundstaff. But we shall wait and keep you updated!
