India is set to face South Africa in a brief four-match T20 series starting on November 8 in Durban. This series, added to the schedule through mutual agreement by the BCCI and Cricket South Africa (CSA), will feature an Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav, with many senior players absent as they prepare for the Test series against Australia. Young players Ramandeep Singh, Vijaykumar Vyshak, and Yash Dayal have received maiden T20I call-ups, with two expected to debut in the opening match. This series marks the first time the two sides will meet in T20Is since India’s World Cup victory over South Africa.
South Africa will welcome back key players David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen. Gerald Coetzee has recovered from an injury, but Quinton de Kock and Anrich Nortje remain unavailable.
