Union Minister Anurag Thakur accused Arvind Kejriwal of spreading lies and running a corrupt government.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Friday accused the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of spreading lies and said that he was running a ‘corrupt government’, ANI reported.
Arvind Kejriwal is ‘Jhootmantri’ and he spreads lies and fears. He fought the election on the issue of corruption but is running a corrupt government. Their health minister is in jail, while the health system, including the Mohalla clinics, are in shambles,” Thakur said.
The Union minister’s remark comes in the wake of the ongoing political slugfest between the AAP and the BJP over the freebie row.
Kejriwal has alleged the BJP-led Centre is “strongly opposing” free facilities to people as it lacks funds to support such welfare measures after waiving loans and taxes worth crores of rupees of its “super-rich friends”.
Thakur claimed that Kejriwal’s outburst against the Centre was to “cover up” allegations of corruption against the ministers in the Delhi government.
