Lok Sabha Elections 2024 LIVE: Lok Sabha Elections will take place in seven phases starting April 19. The voting in other phases will be held on April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. The results of the elections will be declared on June 4.

The political parties have begun their rallies and mass reachout programmes for the general elections in the country. Several parties have also declared many of their candidates in respective states and seats. Lalu Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal will contest 26 seats, while the Congress will field candidates in nine seats. Follow LIVE updates here:

Uttarakhand: BJP candidate from Pauri Garhwal parliamentary seat, Anil Baluni held a roadshow and interacted with the public in Pauri.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur today campaigned for party candidate from Jammu, Jugal Kishore Sharma, in Jammu.

CPI-ML released the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, in the grand alliance in Bihar, CPI-ML has got the seats of Arrah, Nalanda and Karkat. Sudama Prasad from Ara, Rajaram Singh from Karakat, Sandeep Saurabh from Nalanda and Vinod Singh from Koderma (Jharkhand) will be the candidates.

 

The decision on MVA friendly fight will be taken in Delhi. The meeting will be held in Delhi on March 31. Prominent leaders of MVA will attend this meeting. Maharashtra Congress has sought permission for friendly fight from Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. State Congress wants to have a friendly fight on a total of 4 seats. These seats are Sangli, Bhiwandi, South Central Mumbai, North West Mumbai. Delhi High Command has asked MPCC to wait till the decision on friendly fight is taken.)
