Training Camps in Kotli

Images and reports from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) suggest that the Pakistani Army is training individuals to become terrorists. According to sources, the army has set up training camps in the Kotli area of PoK, where local residents are being instructed in weapon usage and tactics. These camps are reportedly grooming young men for potential infiltration into India.

Recruitment and Training of Ex-Army Personnel

In addition to training local residents, there are reports that former Pakistani army personnel and commandos are also being prepared for infiltration. These ex-SSG (Special Service Group) members, who have prior experience in terrorism, are receiving advanced training. Pictures have surfaced showing Pakistani army personnel engaging in these training activities, further indicating the existence of these camps.

Monsoon Infiltration Opportunities

The Jammu region’s geography, characterized by rivers and drains that swell during the monsoon season, provides opportunities for infiltrators to cross into India. The mountainous terrain in the Jammu division offers numerous hiding spots, complicating detection efforts. The rugged landscape also poses challenges for drone operations, making it difficult to monitor and secure the area effectively.

Advanced Weaponry and Financial Incentives

Sources indicate that Pakistan is equipping its trained terrorists with advanced weaponry, including M4 rifles and Chinese armor-piercing bullets. Infiltrators are reportedly receiving at least Rs 1 lakh for their missions, with guides assisting them being paid between Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000. Additionally, terrorists are using modern communication devices such as Samsung phones and Y SMS through Icom radio sets.

Support from Over Ground Workers

Infiltrating terrorists in India are also providing financial support to Over Ground Workers (OGWs), who assist them with food and other necessities. These OGWs receive payments ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000 for their assistance.

Recent Spike in Terror Attacks

Amid a recent surge in terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, significant information has emerged regarding Pakistan’s funding and support for terrorists. A top source disclosed a list of terrorist camps operated by Pakistan along the border. This follows a series of deadly incidents, including a gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on July 16, which resulted in the deaths of four army personnel. This attack occurred just a week after a terrorist ambush on an Army patrol in the Machedi forest belt in Kathua district, claiming the lives of five soldiers and injuring several others.

Financial Support for Terrorist Families

Reports suggest that the families of terrorists are receiving financial support from Pakistan. Additionally, there are indications that Pakistan has reactivated its terror camps, luring potential terrorists with monetary incentives after failing to radicalize the youth.

The Pakistani Army’s alleged involvement in training terrorists in PoK has raised serious security concerns for India. With advanced weaponry, financial incentives, and modern communication tools, these terrorists pose a significant threat. The recent spike in terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir underscores the urgency for heightened security measures and international attention to Pakistan’s actions. As investigations continue, the international community must address these developments to prevent further escalation of violence in the region.
