Rajesh Hemrajani has been chaired as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Paytm Payments Bank. Mumbai based Hemrajani will be leading a team of specialized IT security and risk professionals.
Paytm Payments Bank entered the market in 2015 is India’s only mobile-first bank with zero balance – zero digital transaction charge accounts.
“In this new role as Chief information security officer at Paytm payments bank, my responsibilities include core IT security, network security, risk and compliance strategy which will support bank’s BCP with advanced security to mitigate any cyber risk,” Hemrajani said.
Prior to this, he has served a stint of over 3 years as CISO at IDFC First Bank. Hemrajani is a highly experienced IT security practitioner specialized with possessing multi-cultural management and has an operational experience of over 25+ years in framing corporate information & cyber security policies and developing standards for secured IT Infrastructure, risk assessment process and compliance policies. He has served companies such as RBS as Head-IT security, Nomura Securities as VP and more.
