There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the Indian cities on Monday, January 3, 2022. Check the latest city-wise rates here.

There has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel even today, i.e. on January 3, 2022. For a long time, oil companies have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable. The excise duty on petrol and diesel was cut by the central government during Diwali, after which the oil companies have not increased the prices till now.

In the capital city of India, Delhi, the price of one litre of petrol remains at Rs 95.41 and the price of diesel remains at Rs 86.67. However, in many states, including Bihar and Rajasthan, petrol is still being sold above Rs 100 per litre.

In Mumbai, a litre of petrol costs Rs 109.98 per litre, while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.14 per litre.

Similarly, petrol is being sold at Rs 104.67 per litre in Kolkata and people have to shell out Rs 89.79 for one litre of diesel. In Chennai, the prices of petrol and diesel remained unchanged at Rs 101.40 and Rs 91.43 per litre, respectively.

If we talk about Faridabad, petrol is available there at Rs 96.22 per litre and diesel at Rs 87.42 per litre. Also, petrol is being sold at Rs 82.96 per litre and diesel at Rs 77.13 per litre in Port Blair.

Apart from this, the petrol price in Bangalore is Rs 100.58 and diesel is Rs 85.01. At the same time, in Patna, the capital of Bihar, petrol is being sold for Rs 105.92 and diesel for Rs 91.09. The price of petrol in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, is below Rs 100. Petrol is being sold in Lucknow for Rs 95.28 and diesel for Rs 86.80.
