PM Modi Invites Ideas, Suggestions for ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Address on July 28

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon citizens to share their ideas and suggestions for the upcoming ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast on July 28. This will mark the 112th episode of the monthly radio programme, which airs on the last Sunday of every month at 11:00 am. The programme serves as a platform for the Prime Minister to discuss matters of national significance with the public.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi expressed his enthusiasm about the inputs he has already received for this month’s episode. “I’ve been getting numerous inputs for this month’s #MannKiBaat, which will take place on Sunday the 28th. Happy to see several youngsters in particular highlight collective efforts aimed at transforming our society,” the Prime Minister stated.

Encouraging more citizens to contribute, PM Modi added, “You can keep sharing inputs on MyGov, the NaMo App or record your message on 1800-11-7800.”

First Address Post Lok Sabha Elections 2024

In the previous episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on June 30, Prime Minister Modi addressed the nation for the first time since February 2024, following the Lok Sabha Elections. During that episode, he emphasized the importance of Sanskrit in ancient Indian knowledge and science, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Akashvani’s Sanskrit Bulletin. He also highlighted the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, launched on World Environment Day, urging citizens to participate in tree plantation initiatives with their mothers.

About ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Launched on October 3, 2014, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aims to connect with various segments of Indian society, including women, the elderly, and the youth. The programme is broadcast by over 500 centres of All India Radio and is available in 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 foreign languages, including French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari, and Swahili.

Broad Reach and Impact

A study on the impact of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ revealed that over 100 crore people have tuned in to the programme at least once. It serves as a direct communication channel between the Prime Minister and the public, celebrating grassroots-level changemakers and encouraging positive actions among citizens.
