The meeting coincided with the visit of US National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan to India. PM Modi emphasized that the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership has reached new heights, particularly in areas like technology, defence, space, biotechnology, and AI.
Modi also highlighted the progress under the US-India Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET), launched in 2022 by him and US President Joe Biden. The initiative focuses on enhancing collaboration in areas such as semiconductors, critical minerals, advanced telecommunications, and defence technology.
