Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is monitoring the case against deputy CM Manish Sisodia and met CBI and ED directors recently.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, marking his Aam Aadmi Party’s 10th foundation day on Saturday, launched a scathing attack on the BJP and claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was personally monitoring case against his deputy Manish Sisodia. He also said that the PM met CBI and ED directors.

“PM was personally monitoring the case and he used to meet the CBI and ED chiefs and direct them to do anything to find evidence against Sisodia. But, they couldn’t find anything against him in their entire investigation,” Kejriwal said.

The AAP convenor also claimed that the CBI has filed the chargesheet [in liquor policy case] and it nowhere mentions Manish Sisodia’s name. In a way CBI has given clean chit to Sisodia. About 800 officers were working on the case, Kejriwal said.

They couldn’t find anything against Manish Sisodia. If they would have found even slightest of proof against Sisodia in the case, they would have arrested him,” he added.

Speaking about the raids undertaken by central agencies in the Delhi liquor policy case, Kejriwal noted that over 500 places locations related to Sisodia were raided, walls broken, mattress torn, bank locker checked but could not find any cash stashed

Stating that he can proudly say that he is a kattar imandar (extremely honest), Arvind Kejriwal asserted that no other politician in this country can stand before the people and say they are kattar imandar.

The AAP was founded in November 26, 2012, by Kejriwal. He chose to float the party on this day as the Constitution of India was adopted on this day in 1949.

“Aam Aadmi Party was established 10 years ago on this day. In these 10 years, with the immense love of the public and efforts of the workers, the party created many histories in Indian politics,” Kejriwal said in a tweet.
