PM Modi To Inaugurate Dwarka Expressway Today; Road Projects Worth Rs 1 Lakh Crore To Be Launched Across India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today visit Gurugram to inaugurate the Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway. Besides, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple road projects worth Rs 1 lakh crore across India.

He will also address a public meeting in Gurugram. Requisite arrangements have been put in place for PM’s visit. Security has been beefed up in Gurugram. A travel advisory has also been issued by the Gurugram Police.

The BJP and Congress will today hold their CEC meetings to finalise their candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The Congress party’s Central Election Committee (CEC) will convene for its second meeting at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in Delhi on Monday evening, as reported by news agency ANI. It will be chaired by the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge. Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are expected to attend this meeting.

The BJP’s second list of candidates is likely to be released after the CEC meeting today. Earlier, the saffron party released its first list of 195 candidates.
