Shivraj Singh Chouhan takes oath as Madhya Pradesh CM for fourth time

Senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister for the fourth time. Chouhan has earlier served the state’s Chief Minister between 2003 to 2018.

 

Former Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was instrumental in supporting Shivraj Singh Chouhan to attain the hot seat of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the fourth term.

 

“I express my gratitude and am thankful to all those 22 former MLAs who have resigned from the membership and joined BJP. I ensure that I would prove my best on their expectations. I would never break their confidence,” tweeted Chouhan after assuming charge of the office.

 

Earlier in the tweet,  Scindia had tweeted “Heartiest Congratulations BJP  for the formation of government, and Shivraj Singh Chauhan for taking over oath as CM”.
