Asaduddin Owaisi slammed Yogi Adityanath after the government demolished the homes of the accused in Prayagraj clashes that had erupted against the remarks made by Nupur Sharma.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday took a dig at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by calling him ‘Super Chief Justice’, as reported by ANI.

The AIMIM chief said, “UP CM has become ‘Super Chief Justice’. He’ll convict anybody in his own court. Afreen Fatima’s house was in her mother’s name…Why isn’t BJP demolishing Teni’s (son Ashish Mishra) home accused of killing five people? BJP’s giving collective punishment to Indian Muslims.

A day before the demolition, Uttar Pradesh Police said that the accused would be booked under the Gangster Act and all illegal property would be razed.

However, according to Javed’s daughter Afreen Fatima, the house that was razed was gifted to their mother by her maternal grandfather. Neither the land nor the house was built by her father, she claimed.

Recovery from Javed’s home

During the search of the illegally constructed house of Javed Mohammad, two illegal arms, several cartridges, one big bank (knife) and a paper were found on which objectionable remarks had been written against the court.

Apart from this, a flag of the Welfare Party of India was also recovered from Javed’s home during the search.

Javed Mohammad’s link to WPI

Top officials told India Today that Javed Mohammas has links to the WPI after a flag of the organization was recovered from his residence.

The head of Welfare Party of India is Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, father of former JNU student leader Umar Khalid, who was one of the conspirators of Delhi 2020 riots.
