Police have arrested two men for allegedly carrying and consuming alcohol on a Delhi-Patna Indigo flight. The incident was reported on Delhi-Patna Indigo flight 6E-6383.
Airport SHO Robert Peter confirmed the arrest of the two inebriated passengers and said the duo would be taken to court.
Though there were reports of the drunk men engaging in a brawl with the cabin crew, sources privy to the matter have said that the incident took place on Monday at 8:44 pm.
They said the passengers were carrying and consuming alcohol on the flight but did not create a ruckus.
As soon as the crew told them it wasn’t allowed, they were apologetic and stopped drinking, they said.
Upon arrival at the airport, the cabin crew reported the matter to security as per protocol, they added.
