Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said: “Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has forgotten history. He said Sena wasted 25 years, but he forgot that till 2012, Balasaheb was the leader of this alliance. This raises questions over Balasaheb’s decision to remain in the alliance.”

Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis trained his guns on Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray for his ‘wasted 25 years with BJP’ comment. Earlier, BJP leader Ram Kadam had also slammed Yddhav Thackeray for the comment.

Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said that Shiv Sena had “wasted” its time with BJP for 25 years. “My only disappointment is that once upon a time, they were our friends. We nurtured them. As I said earlier, our 25 years in alliance with the BJP were wasted,” Thackeray said.

‘UDDHAV THACKERAY FORGOT BALASAHEB LED BJP-SENA ALLIANCE’

“Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray has forgotten history. He said Sena wasted 25 years, but he forgot that till 2012, Balasaheb was the leader of this alliance. This raises questions over Balasaheb’s decision to remain in the alliance,” he said.

“Let me remind him that BJP had corporators and MLAs before Sena even came into existence. Sena had contested one Lok Sabha election on BJP’s symbol; Manohar Joshi, Sena’s first CM, who contested the Lok Sabha elections on our symbol,” Fadnavis said.

“When they were with BJP, they were number one in the state. Now, they are at number four. There was nothing new in his speech. BJP workers face lathi charge for speaking about Hindutva and raising the Ram Mandir issue. Now, they forget that Modiji is creating the Ram temple,” Fadnavis added. (manish )
