Union minister Kaushal Kishore’s nephew was found hanging at his home in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Wednesday, police sources said.
Preliminary investigation suggests that he died by suicide. Police have launched a probe into the matter.
Kaushal Kishore belongs to the Bharatiya Janata Party and represents the Mohanlalganj constituency in Parliament. He is currently serving as the Minister of State for Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
Kishore recently stoked controversy when, while talking about the Shraddha Walkar murder case, he remarked that educated girls should not get into live-in relationships.
