Xavier School of Sustainability (XSoS) is going to host the fourth edition of XUB Sustainability Summit, on ‘Mainstreaming Sustainability: Role of Education and Reporting’ scheduled on 17th November 2018 at Xavier University, Bhubaneswar.

This summit is expected to act as a change-maker by simulating an interaction with the leaders of change: industrialists, corporate heads and academicians. It will help the students learn on how to stay ahead in the game by understanding and communicating the business’s impact on critical sustainability issues. This year, the School of Sustainability attempts to decipher the role of the most fundamental pillar to any reformation: Education.

The summit will be graced by several eminent industry veterans who will be sharing their perspective with the students on three broad themes, which include Mainstreaming Sustainability Education, Careers in Sustainability, Sustainable Development Goals and Reporting.

The speakers include Vishal Bhavsar (Head Sustainability, Ultratech, Aditya Birla Group); Gaurav Sarup (Sustainability Lead, Vedanta, Cairn India); Debanjan Bandhopadhyay (Partner, ERM); Saunak Saha (Associate Partner, Ernst & Young); Richa Pant (Head CSR, LTFS); Gyanesh Pathak (Head EHS, Bennett & Coleman, Times Group); Aditya Batra (Senior Director, Boarding and Funding, CSE); Pratyush Panda (Vice President CSR, Lafarge ACC); Christu Das (Director Projects, Holistic Rural Development, ESAF), and Pallavi Atre (Sustainability, TCS, GRI).
