The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on June 08, 2017 was 31.862 BCM, which is 20% of total storage capacity of these reservoirs. This percentage was at 21 for the week ending on June 01, 2017. There are plans in the offing to announce the mounting of a National Mission on advanced ultra supercritical technologies for cleaner coal utilisation at a total cost of US$ 238 million and setting up of two Centres of Excellence on Clean Coal Technologies at US $5 million each.
