Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG) of Rs. 7,183.42 crore released to 14 States

The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, today released the 8th monthly instalment of Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant of Rs. 7,183.42 crore to 14 States. The grant has been released as per the recommendations of the Fifteenth Finance Commission. The Fifteenth Finance Commission has recommended a total Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant of Rs. 86,201 crore to 14 States for the financial year 2022-23. Part of Chinese rocket, the size of a 10-storey building likely to crash on earth

A huge chunk from a Chinese rocket is expected to fall back on Earth either on Friday or Saturday. There is however uncertainty about where exactly it will land. According to the Aerospace Corporation, an American non-profit, the rocket body is the core booster of the Long March 5B rocket, launched from China’s Tiangong space station. The booster weighs 22. 5 metric tons and is about the size of a 10-storey building.
