13 Bengaluru Schools, over 5,000 children evacuated After Bomb Threat by Mail

Thirteen schools in Bengaluru received bomb threats Friday morning through email, police said.  The email claimed that explosives had been planted on school premises.  Police were immediately notified and have been searching the schools for any suspicious objects.  So far, no explosives have been found.  The emails received on Friday were sent from various addresses with masking of the IP address of origin of the emails, police sources added.  The schools have taken emergency actions in the face of the threats.  The police had then booked a case under cyber-terrorism…
