Vineet Jaiswal has moved on from JSW Group and joined Vedanta Resources as Chief Digital & Technology Officer. He will be reporting to the company’s Group CEO, Sunil Duggal.
In his new role, he will lead the digital transformation initiatives and will strategically manage IT to benefit the business. He will be based out of Udaipur and will travel extensively to all Vedanta business locations.
Jaiswal said, “I am responsible for business delivery through digital transformation with focus on both top-line and bottom-line impact. I will work closely with the Business Unit CEO’s and Centre of Excellence organisation to drive digital initiatives which will impact outcomes in terms of volume, sales, through increase; cost optimisation, defect reduction, improve asset availability and enhance safety.”
In his previous role as CDO at JSW Group, he was responsible for digital transformation aligning the company’s vision for the future in the digital space. Jaiswal has over 25 years of work experience from being a developer, architect, project manager, people leader to strategic roles.
Jaiswal completed both his Bachelors in Engineering and MBA from Nagpur University. Previously, he had multiple leadership roles in his 17 years career with GE. Have also served as a board member for GE Intelligent Platforms India and GE Power Conversion India.
