As the world was welcoming the New Year in grandeur, partying and enjoying, there were some who were celebrating it in a unique novel manner.
Thousands of people in New Delhi protesting against CAA were seen singing the National Anthem while welcoming the New Year at Shaheen Baug at midnight.
The national anthem was then followed by slogans of ‘Inqualab Zindabad’; also a few were found waiving the national flag, while some displayed their protest placards against the new Act.
