Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is committed to fighting corruption and dynasty while addressing his party MPs on the 43rd foundation day. The prime minister said the nation is above everything for the BJP, adding that the party is committed to ridding India of corruption, nepotism, law and order challenges.
Today, India is realizing its potential just like the power of Lord Hanuman. The BJP party gets inspiration from Lord Hanuman to fight corruption, law and order. If we see the whole life of lord Hanuman, he had a “can do” attitude that helped him in bringing all kinds of success,” the prime minister said.
PM MODI SLAMS ‘BAADSHAHI’ MINDSET
PM Modi slammed people with “baadshahi” mindset, saying they have been insulting the poor and backwards, deprived since 2014.
He took a dig at Opposition and launched ‘parivarvaad’ and ‘casteism’ attacks on them. He attacked the Opposition for ‘playing down’ India’s growth, adding that they mocked the service done to the poor.
OPPN CANNOT DIGEST BJP’s WORK
Launching an all-out attack on Opposition, PM Modi said they (Opposition) cannot digest the work the BJP is doing.
“They (the Opposition) had never imagined that Article 370 would be history one day. They cannot digest the work BJP is doing. Today, they have become so desperate that they have openly started saying ‘Modi teri kabr khudegi’
Unlike opposition parties who used the slogan of social justice for political gains, BJP strives for social justice and employment of all segments and the free ration to 80 crore is a living example as it is being given without any discrimination. The identity of Congress is dynasty, nepotism, corruption, whereas BJP’s political culture is inclusive,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi cited the free ration scheme and other welfare measures to assert that social justice is an article of faith for the BJP.
The prime minister also said that the party derives inspiration from Lord Hanuman. “Hanuman Ji can do anything, does it for everyone, but does not do anything for himself!,” he said. (sic)
Ahead of PM Modi’s address, the BJP has asked all its MPs to remain present in Parliament on April 6. Last year, too, the party organised a similar event for its MPs in Parliament. April 6 marks the BJP’s 43rd foundation day and the party has organised various programmes right from the booth level.
“We have made the mantra of ‘Nation First’ our motto. BJP working with the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ (everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s faith and everyone’s effort),” he added.
