NDRF recruits 100 women as Rescuers

The first of its kind, 100 women batch of disaster combatants and rescuers has been inducted in The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). The in batch women have been deployed in GarhMukteshwar town, Uttar Pradesh, as reported.   The women have been trained as complete rescuers according to NDRF director general S N Pradhan.   “Recently, the UP government requisitioned an NDRF team and they (women) went there (Garh Mukteshwar). PM Modi inaugurates driverless Delhi Metro

India’s first driverless train on Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. He also launched the National Common Mobility Card, an inter-operable transport facility that allows users to pay for travel, toll duties, retail shopping, and withdraw money using one card.   The driverless trains will be fully automated, eliminating the possibility of human error, officials say. Karnataka consents to projects of nearly ₹23,000 cr
