Wipro partners with Rebuild Texas Fund to help rebuilding efforts in Texas

Wipro has announced that it will partner with Rebuild Texas Fund to help in the recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey, which left a trail of destruction across Texas. In order to support affected communities, Wipro will contribute $250,000 towards the Rebuild Texas Fund set up by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation in collaboration with the OneStar Foundation.   Wipro has also initiated a voluntary donation program encouraging contributions from employees. Rural Telangana to get solar technology from Verizon and IIT Madras

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) and Verizon Data Services India have come together to take solar technology to rural Telangana. IIT Madras, in collaboration with Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL) and Rural Electrification Corporation, has taken up this project to provide uninterrupted power using solar technology to 300 households spread across four hamlets in rural Telangana.    IIT Madras developed this Solar Technology, which was technology transferred to and commercialized by Cygni Energy Private limited, an IIT Madras-incubated firm, which also carried out the installations.…

AICTE ties-up with Youth4work to help youth showcase their skills

All India Council of Technical Education, under which more than 10,300 technical institutions & about 80 Lac students are regulated, signed an MOU with Youth4work.com that has over 21 Lac Youth across India tested and profiled for their skills.
