ITTA-PDY (Information Technology Traders Association-Puducherry) conducted an Orphanage Donation program that presided at Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, 10, St. Therese Street, Puducherry on 1st July, 2017.   Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, run by the Missionaries of Charity, is home for abandoned and destitute children, including children with special needs. It provides shelter, food and medical care and children get to attend regular schools. US Says it Encourages a transparent process for NGOs in India

Ahead of the US-based donor NGO Compassion International shutting down its India operations, the US has called for a transparent Indian process for foreign NGOs, which it said has been facing ‘significant challenges’ in the last few years. “NGOs do valuable work overseas.
