Civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has inaugurated the new campus of the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA). The institute was set up in 2010 as collaboration among Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The new campus is spread over eight acres and has 12 training halls, a hostel, an open air theatre, two gymnasiums and other sports and recreational facilities.
