CrossRoads of Southern Nevada, NV’s top drug and alcohol addiction treatment center, is proud to announce that in addition to accepting detox and homeless patients, the center now has a separate unit for Covid-19 isolation patients and Covid-19 quarantine patients. Top Addiction Center in Nevada Transforms a Wing for COVID-19 Response.

“As many of you may know, Las Vegas made national news highlighting the way the city was ‘housing’ our homeless,” said CrossRoads’s CEO Dave Marlon.  “We even saw pictures of squares marked out on the asphalt in a parking lot for the homeless to sleep in.”

CrossRoads has decided to take a different approach. The rehab center has opened a wing of its center to help relieve the strain of COVID-19 patients, including taking patients from Catholic Charities, local hospitals, and the VA hospital.

Crossroads is grateful for our arrangement with the County of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) to provide care for our post-acute Covid -19 patients.

As local facilities like Montevista have recently closed, it is critical that we continue providing mental health resources to our community now more than ever. “We are addressing the epidemic inside of the pandemic,” said Marlon.
