Delhi Police joined Military Police in conducting a special awareness campaign to curb the sale of new Army pattern combat uniforms to unauthorised persons.
In a bid to curb the sale of new Army pattern combat uniforms to unauthorised persons, the Delhi Police, in coordination with the Military Police, conducted a special awareness campaign.
The drive took place on July 11, 2022, in Delhi’s Cantonment area, where the shopkeepers were sensitised. The officials revealed that there are two major issues which the Indian Army has flagged with respect to the introduction of a new combat uniform – security and the wearing of unauthorised pattern combat dress by serving personnel.
The shopkeepers were sensitised and asked not to sell any duplicate or unauthorised army combat uniforms.
