Odisha Congress party leader Pradeep Manjhi was heard instigating his supporters over the phone.
‘Keep Petrol and diesel ready. The moment you get an order, set everything on fire,’ said Manjhi while talking over the phone.
Manjhi was caught on camera directing his workers to set everything ablaze during the 12 hour strike in Nabrangpur that people had called for, citing the police have not taken any action over the rape and murder case of a minor girl in Kundali.
Talking to the press about his statement, he said, “First a minor was gang raped and killed in Kundali now another minor was gang raped and killed in Nabrangpur. This is too much. We can keep no more mum.”
He further said he has no regrets over his controversial remarks made.
