IOCL signs MoU with ALIMCO to distribute aids to divyangjans in Panipat & Karnal

Indian Oil Corporation Limited ( Delhi State Office) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) have signed an MoU on 23rd July 2018 at IOCL Delhi State Office for distributing Aids and Appliances worth Rs 60 lakhs to Divyangjan of Panipat and Karnal districts for FY 20-18-19 under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

 

The MoU was signed at the Delhi State office of IOCL in presence of Shri Sajjan Kumar, Executive Director, IOCL and Shri D.R. Sarin, CMD – ALIMCO.

 

IOCL, the top ranked profit making PSU in India is committed for the welfare of the society and will sponsor free of cost high-end aids & appliances for Divyangjans through ALIMCO in Panipat and Karnal, which includes High End Artificial Limbs “Made in India” through German Technology . ALIMCO will also distribute modern assistive devices such as Motorized Tricycles, Smart Canes, Smartphones, Digital Hearing Aids etc under this MoU. This is a major CSR initiative of IOCL and will help the Divyangjans to overcome the difficulties enabling them to lead a normal and productive life and making them fully independent. This effort will not only bring these underprivileged PwDs to the mainstream of life, but will also contribute to the National economy.
