Lenovo has unveiled its latest consumer laptop from the ideapad family, Lenovo ideapad 110. Custom-made for first-time PC buyers, the ideapad 110 delivers supreme functionality and durability at a starting price of Rs 20,490. Lenovo is also offering the Accident Damage Protection (ADP) cover to protect laptops from unexpected damages, thereby reducing the total cost of ownership.
Equipped with Intel’s latest Celeron Dual Core and Pentium Quad Core processors, the new ideapad 110 comes with an improved hinge design that is robust and allows for a smooth 180-degree action into a flat position. Lenovo’s ADP policy protects investment on laptops in case of damage due to accidental drops, spills, electrical surges or failure of the integrated screen.
The model comes with a DVD/CD-RW drive that makes it easy to load programs, listen to CDs or watch movies offline. The 802.11 a/c Wi-Fi connectivity delivers up to 3 times the connection speed compared to 802.11 b/g/n, making it perfect for blazing-fast browsing, streaming, and downloading.
Commenting on the launch, Bhaskar Choudhuri, director, Marketing, Lenovo India said, “ideapad 110 is a value laptop with features users need, but without a high price tag. Its dependable processing power, good memory, ample storage, attractive display, and integrated graphics make it one of the best entry-level laptops for the college goers and young working professionals.”
Under Lenovo’s recently launched Back to College initiative, young college students can avail pocket-friendly and attractive EMI schemes on the purchase of select models of ideapad 110. The offer will be applicable in all cities until July 31, 2016. Additionally, they are entitled to get up to 3 years of warranty worth Rs 4,499 along with 1 year of ADP cover at just an additional payment of RS 599.
