Former Maharashtra CM and senior BJP Leader Devendra Fadnavis said that Maha Vikas Aghadi (Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress alliance) like a horror film will end soon. This comment came after senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan remarked that the three-party government like a multi starrer film, will surely complete its term.
Long time allies BJP and Shiv Sena had a bitter split in 2019, when the latter went along with Congress and NCP to form a new party, Maha Vikas Aghadi.
Referring to Chavan’s statement that Shiv Sena had given in written undertaking that it would work within the parameters of the Constitution and MVA’s Common Minimum Program, Fadnavis lashed out asking whether CM Uddhav Thackeray had presented a bouquet to interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
Fadnavis demanded to know why Shiv Sena is part of the government, if Congress has no faith in them and termed it (the alliance) as helplessness (of Sena) to stick to power.
BJP further continued to harp on the issues with State Vice president Kirit Somaiya demanding the details of the ‘Sena’s surrender agreement’ and clarify what and how much compromise was made to be made public.
