In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh's infrastructure landscape, the much-anticipated 594-km-long Ganga Expressway is set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 29. The expressway is expected to act as a catalyst for economic growth, connectivity, and regional development across the state.
Stretching from Western to Eastern Uttar Pradesh, the expressway will directly benefit 12 districts and hundreds of villages along its route. Officials say the project will drastically reduce travel time between key regions, facilitate faster movement of goods and services, and open up new opportunities for industry, trade, and tourism.
"This is a transformative initiative that will give a new direction to connectivity in Uttar Pradesh," stated a government spokesperson. The expressway is also expected to spur industrial corridors, boost agricultural supply chains, and attract investment to underserved eastern districts.
With the inauguration just a day away, security and logistical arrangements have been finalized. The event is being seen as a major step in the state's infrastructural leap forward, strengthening both economic momentum and regional integration.
