A survey says, there will be 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs globally by 2021, Out of the 3.5 million open cybersecurity positions expected by 2021, Cybersecurity Ventures estimates more than 2 million openings will be in the Asia-Pac region, and nearly 400,000 will be in Europe. Unfortunately, governments and businesses tend to underestimate how much risk they face from cybercrime and how quickly this risk can develop.

Every professional into IT, needs to be involved with protecting and defending apps, data, devices, infrastructure, and people. The majority of chief information security officers around the world are worried about the cybersecurity skills gap, with 58 percent of CISOs believing the problem of not having an expert cyber staff will worsen. This leads to the increase in the number of the Cyberpreneruship, it requires professionals to learn good into programming, specifically Python, for generating scripts for automation.

It is true that, there is Cyberextortion happens to thousands of websites, e-mail server, or computer system is subjected to or threatened with repeated denial of service or other attacks by malicious hackers. These hackers demand money in return for promising to stop the attacks and to offer protection and demanding payments to restore their service. Cyberspace is constantly evolving and presenting organizations with new opportunities, as the desire of businesses to quickly adopt new technologies, such as using the Internet to open new channels and adopting cloud services, provides vast opportunity. But, it also brings unanticipated risks and inadvertent consequences that can have a potentially negative impact.

In this digital age, without right transformation in security, Digital transformation is not complete. This comes with an opportunity with serious risks as the cyberspace has become an increasingly attractive invisible battle ground for criminals, activists and terrorists motivated to make money, get noticed, cause disruption or even bring down corporations and governments through online attacks. In this day and age, organizations must be prepared for the unpredictable so they have the resilience to withstand unforeseen, high impact events.

With increasing cybercrimes and growing cyber security breaches, more and more countries are coming up with new cyber security legislations and policies which have a direct impact upon all stakeholders. The advent of Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchains are leads to increasing cyber security breaches and it is need to be appropriately addressed.

Cyberspace has distinctly been impacted due to the advent of Coronavirus.  People are forced to work from home, it has also created a new problem like, Wi-Fi connectivity on a large scale creating internet problems. The newer version of internet connectivity by the title, “Wi-Fi 6”, it is going to bring solution, with it’s upgraded standard that compatible devices, particularly routers, can take advantage to transmit Wi-Fi signals more efficiently and it accomplishes greater speed and bandwidth by efficient data encoding, resulting in higher throughput and more data is packed into the same radio waves.
