The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi dedicates the Sardar Sarovar Dam to the nation, at Kevadia in Gujarat. The height of the dam was recently raised to 138.68 metres, facilitating a usable storage of 4.73 Million Acre feet (MAF). Union Home Minister to check cybercrime in the financial sector
Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of all concerned agencies and representatives of certain States to review the measures being taken to arrest the growing trend of cybercrime in the financial sector. Indian Aviation Academy’s new campus inaugurated
Civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has inaugurated the new campus of the Indian Aviation Academy (IAA). The institute was set up in 2010 as collaboration among Airports Authority of India (AAI), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The new campus is spread over eight acres and has 12 training halls, a hostel, an open air theatre, two gymnasiums and other sports and recreational facilities. Oil PSUs contribute Rs 15 crores towards Gujarat CM Flood Relief Fund
Six Central Oil PSUs viz. ONGC, IOC, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL and OIL have contributed Rs 15 Crore to the Flood Relief Fund of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat to aid the flood affected people of the State.
