India’s tech hub, Bangalore has experienced significant rainfall over the past few days. The rains have blocked roads, disrupted water and electricity, and made the streets of Bengaluru chaotic. Numerous service providers have also confirmed that they have network disconnections caused by the heavy rains.

The residents of Rohan Jharoka (Yemalur) experienced disrupted internet connectivity due to severe flooding in their server rooms. To ensure that the residents do not experience ongoing internet outages, ACT Fibernet has organized “Fibernet on wheels” initiative by setting up a server in the exterior premises of the community for providing uninterrupted internet services.

With such an industry first initiative, ACT helped the residents to resume their normal life with high-speed broadband connectivity.
