Govt. looking at $109 billion valuation for LIC’s IPO

In what is slated to be India’s biggest initial public offering, the government is seeking a valuation of between 8 trillion rupees ($109 billion) and 10 trillion rupees for state-backed Life Insurance Corp by considering selling 5%-10% stake in the company. Centre announces big reforms in auto, telecom sectors

The cabinet has come out with a strong move to push the economy and announced some big reforms in the automobile and telecom sectors of India ,starting from production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme to rationalising AGR definition to digitising KYC.
