A doctor perusing post graduation raped his college mate in a hotel in Bengluru. The accused was a student of a Government Ayurvedic Medical College, was in relationship with the victim.
The woman approached the police after the accused started avoiding her allegedly after the rape. She claimed that he also filmed her inside washroom to blackmail her into ending their relationship.
The accused followed the victim to her college washroom on February 23 and is accused of filming her in an attempt to blackmail her. The complainant alleges that one day, Deepak (the accused) also snatched the mobile of the victim when she was on the rounds at the hospital and deleted pictures from her phone. He also assaulted the victim accusing her of being in a relationship with other people.
