IOCL HMRBPL signs MoU with ALIMCO for distribution of aids to Divyangjans

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (HMRBPL Division, West Bengal State Office) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) have signed an MoU on 20th July 2018 at IOCL Haldia Mourigram Rajbandh Baurani Pipeline (HMRBPL), Mourigram, Howrah, West Bengal for distributing Aids and Appliances worth Rs 40 lakhs at free of cost to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) of Howrah & Hooghly District, West Bengal State for FY 20-18-19 under its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.

 

The MoU was signed by Shri S Mazumdar, Chief Human Resource Manager (HMRBPL), IOCL & Shri Arindam Sarkar, Incharge & M.O Regional Marketing Center (Kolkata) ALIMCO in the presence of Shri Ashutosh Kumar Mehta GM (HMRBPL) IOCL and other top executives of IOCL.

 

IOCL has sponsored aids & appliances for approximately 400-500 number of PwDs. This major CSR initiative of IOCL will help the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to overcome the difficulties posed by their disability, thereby enabling them to lead a normal & productive life and making them fully independent. This effort will not only bring these underprivileged PwDs to the mainstream of life but will also contribute to the National economy.
