In an apparent message to allied and opposition political leaders in the state, Bihar minister and JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha said that Nitish Kumar will remain the CM till 2025 and there will be no vacancy in the post until then.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s close aide and minister Sanjay Jha has sent out a strong message to the BJP that Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister of Bihar till 2025. There is no vacancy in the CM post till then, he said.

Sanjay Jha’s comments come against the backdrop of several BJP leaders suggesting that Nitish Kumar shift to national politics and hand over the CM post to ally BJP in Bihar.

Sanjay Jha also took a swipe at the media for running speculative stories regarding Nitish Kumar’s alleged plans to enter national politics.

“There is no vacancy for the CM post till 2025. Nitish Kumar will remain the Chief Minister of Bihar till then. People of the state have given mandate to Nitish Kumar to run the government,” Janata Dal (United) leader Sanjay Jha said.

In the political circles of Bihar, it is being said that Sanjay Jha’s message is also for the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal whose leaders have been claiming that there will be a change of government in the state after Nitish Kumar attended the Iftar party hosted by former Chief Minister Rabri Devi and leader of opposition Tejashwi Yadav at their residence last Friday.

Nitish Kumar had walked down from his residence to the home of Rabri Devi to attend the Iftar party.

Hypothetically, even if the JD(U) and RJD were to join hands in Bihar again, Sanjay Jha seems to have indicated through his statement that Nitish Kumar will remain the chief minister even then
