Anthropic Launches Claude Security in Public Beta

Anthropic has announced that Claude Security is now available in public beta for Claude Enterprise customers. This new tool enables enterprise clients to scan their codebases for vulnerabilities and generate necessary patches. Powered by Claude Opus 4.7, Claude Security is specifically designed for security teams, addressing the growing need for advanced cybersecurity solutions.

In a recent blog post, the company highlighted the rapid advancements in AI cybersecurity capabilities. Current models are already proficient at identifying flaws in software code, but future iterations are expected to improve further and may even autonomously exploit these vulnerabilities. “Now is the time for organizations to act to improve their security, preparing for a world in which working software exploits are much easier to discover,” the company stated.

Previously known as Claude Code Security, this tool has undergone testing with hundreds of organizations during a limited research preview. Feedback from these users has contributed to enhancements that are now part of the public release, making Claude Security accessible to all Enterprise customers.

Anthropic's technology partners, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, TrendAI, and Wiz, are integrating Opus 4.7 into their existing tools. Additionally, service partners like Accenture, BCG, Deloitte, Infosys, and PwC are assisting organizations in deploying Claude-integrated security solutions.

This development highlights the increasing importance of AI in cybersecurity, as organizations must adapt to a landscape where software vulnerabilities can be identified and exploited more easily than ever.
